Dr. Richard Harris is a senior experimental physicist at D-Wave Systems where he has been involved in designing and testing next-generation superconducting quantum circuits since 2006.  He holds a PhD in physics from the University of British Columbia, where he studied the microwave properties of single crystal high-temperature superconductors and was a postdoctoral fellow studying surface science probes at Stanford University prior to joining D-Wave Systems.
